The House by The Ponds is a beautifully situated place, ideal for the amateurs of fishing. Our house is located in Żuromin, which is situated in the borderland of three voivodships: Mazovia, Warmia-Masuria and Kujawy-Pomerania.
Due to that fact, local traditions and customs characteristic for the neighbourhood regions are closely interwoven. |

Looking moe closely on the map, you can see that the Land of Thousand Lakes just begins up North Żuromin. That is a perfect place for all water enthusiasts, who can enjoy canoeing and fishing.
There are 5 fee fishing ponds on the premises.The angler pays a fee for the fish caught. There is a possibility to revel for all anglers. The tired ones may take a rest in a double, triple or quad rooms with bathrooms.

Each room is equipped with a seperate bathroom, TV, free Wi-Fi connection and a fridge. In front of the building, there is a large parking lot enclosed by the fence. Check in starts at 3:00 PM and check out should not exceed 12:00 PM. Our guests may organize all kinds of events up to 40 people at our house. Having fun and active quality time is guaranteed.

picturesque landscapes, we offer many fishing attractions, both for the individual guests and the companies as well. Our fishing ponds may be compared to El Dorado for the fishing enthusiasts.

FishingThere are five fishing ponds, in which you can catch such fish species as trout, tench, carp or sturgeon.The angler pays a fee for the fish caught.
Carp reaches over 1 meter long and the weight of 30 kilos (the biggest carp ever caught was 113 cm long at the weight of 46,10 kilos). The heaviest carp ever caught in Poland was 34 kilos heavy and 110 long.
The colour of the trout depends on its age age and habitat it lives in. The most common arethose with silver sides, blue-grey or green-grey back and always with dark stains on the sides and fins. Tench is caught both by fishermen and anglers. Due to its tasty meat, it is willingly eaten. Tench is commonly stocked in the catch-out ponds, mostly with carp. -

The Wkra River Canoe TrailAlong with its gentle current the Wkra river will guarantee all enthusiasts of canoeing great attractions.The Wkra River, called the Nida river in the area above Działdowo and called Działdówka in the area from Działdowo to Lubowidz, is a perfect canoe trail for the beginners. It is an extremely charming trail, worth seeing due to the characteristic landscape for central Poland, clean and cold water of the Wkra river. The Wkra river is right inflow of the Narew river and a typical lowland river, as befits Mazovia. It has preserved its original character, which means it has almost no embankment with the exception of the flow in its upper side.It is a shallow river, which slithers among gentle hills and meadows dotted with the flowers.
The area of the Wkra River and the surrouding meadows is subject to seasonal flooding, mostly during the spring time. Such seasonal backwater creates a picturesque view. The river is partially surrounded by the woods, mostly at hight wharves, where there leads no path. It is possible to walk sandy trails along the river's edges.

Museum of the Mazovian Countryside in Sierpc was set up on 24 of March in 1971 in Sierpc as a regional ethnographical museum. On the premises of 60,5 h, over 80 builidngs of small and big architecture have been gathered. The exposition consists of at least 11 peasant homesteads, which were built at the turn of XIX and XX centuries, gentry manor jouse, wooden windmill ...
Górznieńsko-Lidzbarski Landscape Park was set up in 1990 in the borderland of thre voivodships: Warmia-Masuria, Kujawy-Pomerania and Mazovia. The whole area of the park is 27764,3 hectares. What is more, the whole Górznieńsko-Lidzbarski Landscape Park belongs to so called programme "Poland's Green Lungs".
Church and Reformati Monastery in Żuromin. Church of the Holy Trinity in Żuromin owes its begining to the Divine Mother's revelations, which occurred at the beginning of the XVIII century. The special attention should be paid to the monuments of the sacred arts: the stations of the Cross, feretons with the paintings of saints and baroque stoups dated late XVIII century.
